On July 30th 2007 the victim, Munit WALIA was sitting in his car waiting for his girlfriend, outside a day care playground at 256 John Garland Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
While waiting, the victim made a call on his cell phone. He was waiting to leave a voice message when a male known only as "Blanks" approached the victim, and the audio conversation between the victim and 'Blanks' was captured on the voice mail that the victim was attempting to leave. Shortly afterwards, the victim was murdered.
Toronto Police Service Homicide Squad investigators are appealing to the public to listen to the audio recording, and try to determine what is being stated, and by whom. Investigators are particularly interested in identifying 'Blanks'.
